Urgent Care Patient Services Representative Lead

Urgent Care Patient Services Representative Lead – Full-Time Position – Raleigh Location

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and highly organized Patient Services Representative Lead to support PSR operations across all Urgent Care locations. This leadership role works closely with the Patient Services Supervisor to oversee day-to-day PSR operations, support PSR coverage needs, and help ensure an exceptional patient experience across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support daily operations of the Patient Services Representative team and assist with maintaining efficient clinic flow
  • Coordinate staffing coverage and provide flexibility to assist with callouts and scheduling needs
  • Maintain and adjust PSR schedules while communicating staffing needs to leadership
  • Train and onboard new PSRs and provide ongoing support and feedback
  • Monitor front desk operations, assist patients and visitors, and provide backup coverage as needed
  • Verify insurance coverage, referrals, and authorizations to ensure accuracy and efficiency
  • Ensure accurate patient registration, payment collection, chart management, and tracking log completion
  • Conduct chart audits and provide coaching on registration accuracy and best practices

What You Bring:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a clinic or medical office environment preferred
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to support, motivate, and guide a team
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong multitasking, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in fast-paced or stressful situations
  • Experience with electronic health records and insurance verification required
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to work collaboratively with providers, clinical staff, leadership, and patients

Schedule:

  • Four 10-hour shifts Monday through Thursday
  • Flexibility to assist with staffing coverage and operational needs as needed
