HR Representative (Temporary Position)

HR Representative – Temporary Position – Raleigh Location

Raleigh Orthopaedic is seeking a Temporary HR Representative to support our Human Resources team. This role will focus on recruiting, onboarding, new hire orientation, and general HR administrative support. The HR Representative plays an important role in ensuring a smooth hiring process and a welcoming start for new employees.

Candidates must be able to commit to the assignment for up to 90 days.

Responsibilities

  • Recruiting Support: Post open positions, manage applicant flow, screen resumes, coordinate with hiring managers, and assist with candidate communication.
  • Onboarding Coordination: Prepare offer letters, facilitate background checks and reference checks, set up new hire files and system access, and ensure onboarding steps are completed accurately and on time.
  • New Hire Orientation: Prepare orientation materials, guide new employees through paperwork and training, assist with system logins, and coordinate with managers to ensure a smooth first-day experience.
  • HR Administration: Maintain employee records, prepare reports, assist with compliance documentation, and provide day-to-day support for HR processes.
  • Team Support: Assist HR staff with routine tasks, such as preparing communications and supporting other HR projects as needed.

Preferred Experience

  • 1–2 years of HR, recruiting, or related administrative experience (healthcare setting preferred).
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with HRIS, ATS, or similar systems is a plus.

Compensation:

  • Hourly rate based on experience.
